What it’s all about.

Get ready for an exciting challenge where engineering and creativity come together! In this event, teams will design, build, and launch their own water rockets, testing their skills in physics and innovation. To make things even more interesting, teams will need to strategize and bid for materials, making every decision important. It's not just about reaching the highest point but also about designing efficiently, controlling the flight, and thinking like an innovator. This event promises a fun and engaging experience where learning takes off, creativity shines, and a splash of adventure awaits!

Flow of Event

Registration
Participants need to make a team constituting 4 members and register for the event.
Orientation and Strategy Session
Prior to the main event, students will receive a comprehensive overview, to ensure they understand all aspects of the event.
Bidding
All the material required for this event will be provided to the participants during the process of bidding.
Construction Phase (55 Minutes)
After the materials are provided a 55 minutes time slot shall be allotted to all teams to prepare their water rocket launcher. No extra time will be given.
Official Launch and Judging
All the rockets will be launched
Prize Distribution
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams with the longest flight times.

Rules and Regulations

1. A team shall consist of 4 members.

2. Each rocket will be launched and evaluated officially only one time.

3. Any rocket that is deemed unsafe for launch by the judges will be disqualified from the competition.

4. The flight duration of a water rocket will be recorded using a stopwatch or an appropriate timing device.

5. If two or more rockets achieve identical flight times, the winner will be determined based on the bidding points.

6. Engaging in unethical conduct may result in disqualification from the event.

1.Structural Integrity:No leaks or cracks in the rocket.

2.Time of Flight:The duration the rocket remains airborne.

3.Altitude Achieved:Measured against a set benchmark.

4.Efficiency:Minimal use of materials while maximizing performance.

5.Innovation:Unique and creative design features.
